Itinerary of Powerboat Level 2 Course
Day 1
- Morning:
Classroom check-in, understanding RIB launching, safety equipment
overview, pre-departure checks, and safety briefing.
- Afternoon:
Close-quarters handling, practicing maneuvers, learning about painters,
lines, and fenders, followed by high-speed maneuvers and anchoring
techniques.
Day 2
- Morning:
Classroom session on trip planning, discussing weather, tidal, and
navigational information, and understanding different types of craft and
engines.
- Afternoon:
Executing a planned trip, practicing harbor entry and mooring, GPS usage,
handling emergencies, and practicing Man Overboard procedures.
